XXX-Files - Moulder is a Sex Addict

I used to have a TV-crush on Agent Fox Moulder on the X-Files. I haven't followed his career after the show, and now he is  in rehab for sex-addiction?! David Duchovny released a statement indicating that he has entered a rehab center for sex-addiction. Why would any public figure want to release that detail? An alcohol or drug addiction has became norm in Hollywood, he could've pretended to be one of those and it probably wouldn't even affect his career. What about his actress wife Tea Leoni and children? God, the kind of embarrassment his kids will go through being scrutinized for a sex-addicted dad. Wait...so he isn't even acting when playing the sex-obsessed character on "Californication"?!

Oh Agent Moulder, you will no longer be that handsome detective I was so fond of in The X-Files, you will now be filed under the XXX-Files.
